An extraordinary piece of art… every inch… inside and out… two layers of stone.  Created by artists and artisans, this magical home, on eight acres of ancient forest in Upstate New York.  This was a collaboration of homeowner, interior designer and architect working in tandem to take the existing square footprint and design a second story that was worthy of the original architectural fantasmic collaboration.

A separate dining room designed with sacred geometry, cantilevered over a drop off the home’s stone base of granite.  The room’s dimensions were conspired from The Golden Mean, origins of life.  Boundaries of inside and outside are blurred with the natural slate floor, encircled with windows on all sides.  Openings to the home and the woods flank the room with a veranda serving as tree house.  Truly… magic happens in this space.
